Why Left 4 Dead 2 is still worth playing in 2020
Do you ever get among your old games and question “Is this still being played online?” I did, recently, with some unexpected results.
With online video gaming, it is really difficult for companies to stay up to date with continuously supporting a video game. Valve software application, who are the people accountable for DOTA 2, Half-life, Counter-strike developed Left 4 Dead 2, and with such a heavy hitting line up of video games, it’s not a surprise that this game is still getting some attention. A prime example of quality over quantity.
Left 4 Dead 2, a survival scary multiplayer shooter from 2009 is in fact still being supported, and sometimes upgraded! It isn’t really often when games get such dedicated assistance. I can just attribute it to a business that has a genuine love for their video game, in addition to their fan base. Graphically it has not aged terribly, however the real star of the show here is the gunplay.
For those of you that don’t know, Left 4 Dead 2, is an asymmetrical action survival horror shooter, that pits 4 survivors versus crowds of zombies. Survivors have to obtain from point A to B while performing a wide variety of tasks to make sure survival. If guns and gore is your thing, get a lot of mates together and go online.
If you choose your graphics over gameplay, possibly you may wish to give this one a pass. However, if you desire to partner with the peeps for a merry old time, Left 4 Dead 2 might be the revival you need.
