Vietnam to host yearly nationwide esports contests – VnExpress International
The association said at a conference previously today it would host professional and varsity level competitions, Vietnam Esports Champion (VEC) and University Esport Championship (UEC), starting this year.
VEC is designed with the function of recruiting Vietnamese representatives to complete in international arenas. Teams will have to register online at the tournament’s main site and complete in city and provincial qualifiers before heading to regional and national occasions. UEC will be open to semi-professional gamers.
VIRESA has yet to choose which and how lots of games to include per league, however is considering 10 disciplines, including one PlayStation, four computer system and five mobile video games.
These are: League of Legends: Wild Rift, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile, Arena of Valor, Free Fire, League of Legends, Crossfire, Dota 2, Pro Development Soccer and FIFA Online 4.
