This fan-made CS: GO map looks like it was plucked out of Far Cry 5
As you’ll know if you enjoy providing the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community’s handmade creations a whirl, the FPS game’s modding scene is growing. Amongst many brand-new fan-made maps published this week is one outstanding alternative that drops you into a portion of rural America called ‘Grizzly County’, with all the landmarks and scenery that idea conjures up – type of like Far Cry 5’s Hope County.
Produced by CS: GO modders Lizard and Jakuza, the ‘County – Risk Zone’ customized map is – as its name indicates – crafted for the battle royale video game mode, Danger Zone. Embed in a fictional piece of rural USA, the map features locations like a farm, sawmill, numerous houses, a carpenter gothic-style church, quarry, trailer park, motel, police headquarters, and – from the images on the mod’s page – what appears like a huge, scary, worn out home with suitably scary interiors.
A bird’s- eye view of the map provides some sense of its lovely big scale, and whatever looks not just the part, however exceptionally detailed. There are huge outside spaces surrounded by trees and mountains in the range, and the range of its design appears like it would make a remarkable area for an excellent few rounds of Threat Zone.
Take a look at the map’s trailer below to get an idea of what it’s all about:
