This was validated by the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) on Thursday.

The competition was initially proposed to resume matches this weekend.

The choice to delay the resumption of the league came following a suggestion from the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) secretariat to the Telekom S-League board.

According to a statement from SIFF, the deferment of the recommencement of the league was made offered the situation surrounding the continuous standoff in between Honiara City Council (HCC) and SIFF regarding Lawson Tama Stadium and clubs pre-season after the joyful season as most players are still in the provinces.

The TSL board authorized Saturday 23rd January 2021 as the date for the resumption of the TSL 2020/2021 season.
