Esports organization Team Liquid and Chinese livestreaming platform Huya have extended their streaming partnership to 2022. Team Liquid signed a preliminary handle June of 2019 to stream select Group Liquid competitive esports material, a few of which was translated to Mandarin in “real-time” for Huya’s audience.

Financial regards to the deal were not divulged.

The new multi-year offer broadens the material streamed on Huya. This includes 22 member channels developed by Team Liquid material developers, with members of its PUBG, Dota 2, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive rosters taking part.

Group Liquid mentioned its gamers streamed more than 4.1 K hours on the platform in the very first year of the Huya partnership. Group Liquid PUBG player Jord “ibiza” van Geldere reached a peak of 2.8 M viewers in 2019 on Huya, gained “nearly 900K fans,” and was “voted by fans as the most popular foreign streamer” on the platform in 2019.
