In Episode 38, I catch up with Colorado State head coach Niko Medved about his team that was expected to be a year away.

However the Rams didn’t appear to agree and have managed to put themselves right in the middle of the Mountain West title race this season– a year ahead of schedule, or a minimum of the schedule guys like me had for them. CSU is led by a pair of sophomore Gamer of the Year prospects and a lineup without a senior.

Medved, who was an assistant at CSU from 2007-2013, recalls in this episode one painful Lobo memory in Moby Arena– Kendall Williams’ 46 point game with 10 made 3-pointers that practically clinched the 2013 MWC title for UNM with a couple weeks still to play.

This year’s CSU group is flirting with being the first Rams team since that 2013 season to enter the NCAA Competition.

So, how ‘d they arrive so quick? And will it last? You can listen on the ingrained player above or discover the podcast at any of the links listed below.
