9 Dublin All-Ireland winners made The Sunday Game’s Team of the Year – however there was no location for captain Stephen Cluxton.

The No 1 jersey on the RTE panel’s group of 2020 went to Cavan stopper Raymond Galligan, who played a key function in their Ulster Championship success.

Three Mayo males were included in the team. Oisin Mullin – who starred in the All-Ireland last – was included alongside team-mate Paddy Durcan.

Cillian O’Connor was at his sharpshooting finest for most of the Champion and scored a record-breaking 4-9 in Mayo’s semi-final thrashing of Tipperary.

Cavan’s Thomas Galligan got approval in midfield together with Dublin ace Brian Fenton.

Tipperary forward Conor Sweeney was crucial in his side’s Munster title win and makes the 15.

The TELEVISION panel named Dublin forward Ciaran Kilkenny as their player of the year.
