Portland Timbers midfielder Sebastián Blanco suffered an evident right knee injury in the opening minutes of Sunday’s match against the Seattle Sounders.

Play was stopped as the Timbers medical group took care of Blanco who rested on the ground. Minutes later while resting on the sideline, Blanco burst into tears while favoring his ideal knee.

He would be substituted out of the match in the 5th minute and be changed by Marvin Loría making Blanco disqualified to return.

As Loría took the pitch, Blanco was being brought off by a stretcher.
