All teams and players in the T1 headquarters will be using Samsung’s most current curved gaming displays, the Odyssey G9 and G7. T1 has professional groups and gamers in a diverse range of competitive video games, such as League of Legends, VALORANT, Fortnite, Dota 2, PUBG, Super Smash Bros., Hearthstone, Pinnacle Legends, Overwatch, and FIFA Online 4.
The collaboration will focus on the League group, however. The companies will assemble a series of events to consolidate the offer when the HQ is completed. However without any set launch date yet, Samsung just said it’s “quickly to be opened.”
A meet-and-greet will enable fans to engage with players and view the Samsung Odyssey video gaming monitors in action. The company will also reveal a presentation of highlight videos and “The Locker Room” series including the team, which will be uploaded on T1’s YouTube channel.
Previously referred to as SKT, T1 is the only team to have won 3 League World Championships. Samsung’s former group, Samsung Galaxy, dealt with T1 twice in the finals in 2016 and 2017, with each winning once.
Samsung signs up with T1’s growing lineup of partners that includes Twitch, Nike, Secretlab, Logitech G, and German car producer BMW.
