South African tournament organizer Monarch already impressed this month with the Pinnacle Legends Celeb Cup. This week there’s another fascinating tournament beginning up for South African esports fans to enjoy. It is called the Emperor CS: GO Face-off – a combined teams competition with a fantastic reward pool.

Each CS: GO group entering need to have a minimum of two female players. Registration for the Monarch CS: GO showdown is open, and totally complimentary of charge.

” Each team is needed to field at least 2 female players in their lineup. We hope this will develop exciting opportunities for regional organisations that have both a male and female lineup to create brand-new blended teams. Gamers that are not signed with an organisation might unite to form combined groups. All-female lineups are also welcome to get in.”

All you need to do to register is head on over to the tournament’s FACEIT page. Registrations are open up until 18 February at 12:00 SAST, so don’t lose out. There’s likewise a reward pool of R11,000 up for grabs.

There are 16 slots available in the Emperor CS: GO Showdown. Groups will be put in four groups of four. In the group phase, three best-of-one matches will be played. The top two teams from each group will certify for the single-elimination bracket, which will be relayed on Monarch’s Twitch channel.
