Manchester City reached their 4th straight League Cup last as second-half goals from John Stones and Fernandinho gave Pep Guardiola’s side a 2-0 win over Manchester United in Wednesday’s semi-final at Old Trafford.
City will fulfill Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in the April 25 last as they seek their fourth League Cup triumph in a row.
In a frantic opening to the video game, both teams had efforts eliminated for offside with Stones turning the ball into his own web but being saved by the flag and Ilkay Gundogan transforming a low ball in from Phil Foden however, once again, the effort was rightly eliminated.

Kevin De Bruyne struck the post with a thundering drive from outside the box before Foden likewise put the ball in the internet for City however the visitors were foiled by offside once again.
It was an open and entertaining video game with City looking sharper however United competitive as they sought revenge for in 2015’s defeat by their neighbours at the exact same phase of the competitors.

United have now lost at the semi-final stage in their last four Cup campaigns, leaving supervisor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still looking for his first last because taking control of at the club.
“We’re getting more detailed. This is a far better variation of United than a year ago in those semis,” stated the Norwegian.
“It’s not mental, in some cases you fulfill good teams in the semis. City are probably the finest group in England at the moment,” he added.
City got in the field in number eight t-shirts in homage to former gamer Colin Bell who passed away on Tuesday and Guardiola stated they had honoured his memory.
“It’s for Colin Bell and his household. He assisted to develop something special for this club. It’s an incredible success for us to beat United away and it was for him absolutely,” he stated.
“The team is prepared and it was an exceptional performance. We dipped a bit in the second half, we were tired … but when the team has this mentality they can do something extraordinary. It’s not the Champions League however 4 times in a row to reach the last – I’m so amazed,” he stated.
