PEAK go back to lead Vigor at IEM Katowice|Dot Esports
Group Vigor’s in-game leader is being recalled early from his time off.
The French CS: GO group announced just hours before their opening match today that Dan “pinnacle” Madesclaire will go back to the in-game leader position for their IEM Katowice 2021 run.
Earlier this month, pinnacle was relocated to the bench by Vigor coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam. XTQZZZ pointed out “collective differences” within the team and stated that apEX required to work on individual matters.
In their only event without peak this year, Vitality didn’t look like the very same group that was a dominant force in 2020. Vigor were gotten rid of first from their group at the BLAST Spring series following subsequent losses to Complexity and Evil Geniuses. The loss to Intricacy was especially embarrassing since they fell 16-2 in the 2nd map on Overpass. Vigor’s star Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut notched simply two kills on that map in one of his worst efficiencies as a pro.
With peak leading them, Vitality have appeared like a much more dangerous team.
