As every year, this year, the popular and not extraordinary Forbes released its list of the values of the 30 NBA groups.
The Knicks appear to have changed their video game and are no longer among the worst teams on the flooring, however on the basketball stock exchange, they still have no challenger. In fact, for the very first time in history, a team reached $ 5 billion in worth, confirming that the New york city market suffices to work wonders.
The increase of 9% compared to 2020 is not just an element that worries the very first group of the list, but also for the 2nd. With 4.7 billion, the Warriors surpassed the Lakers (4.6 ), although the latter won the championship in the 2019/20 season, with these three groups being the only ones with a worth of 4+ billion.
Golden State has altered for the better in the industrial part over the past decade and the production of “Chase Arena” -among other things- is constantly strengthening the brand name, as seen in this outstanding increase.
The Bucks of Giannis Antitokoumbo are in 20th location with a worth that reaches 1.625 billion, while the Grizzlies hold the last position with 1.3 billion. It is worth keeping in mind that there was an average boost of 4%, while Thunder, Hawks, Hornets, Pistons, Pelicans, Grizzlies remained at the very same levels.
The most special thing is that while 2020 was the year of the coronavirus, which greatly impacted even the NBA economically, no group saw its worth fall, which reveals how strong the league is at all levels!
