Washington starter Patrick Corbin tossed his very first pitch simply minutes after the Milwaukee Makers and Cincinnati Reds decided to not play Wednesday night. That came after the NBA postponed 3 postseason games, which was stimulated by the Milwaukee Bucks not taking the court to deal with the Orlando Magic. The Bucks did so, in part, to point the spotlight on racial oppression following the cops shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis. Then an ESPN report indicated that more MLB groups might do the same.
