NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF)– The Nashville Soccer Club will begin full-team training for the very first time since MLS suspended operations due to COVID-19 in mid-March.

In order to keep a safe environment for all players and staff, Nashville SC authorities say they will stay in compliance with local health and government policies and comply with the detailed health and safety protocols that were developed in consultation with medical and infectious disease experts.

Full team training is mandatory for all players. And the group will continue to prepare for the “MLS is Back” Tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. on July 8 through Aug. 11.

Nashville was drawn as Group 6 in Group A and will handle Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire FC in the Group Phase. Group A will likewise feature fellow 2020 Expansion Club Inter Miami CF and New York City FC.
