MISERY and Ace rebrand 5men to Hellbear Smashers for 2021 Dota Pro Circuit|Dot Esports
The 5men stack was among numerous Dota 2 groups that popped up to compete in online competitions throughout 2020. After a few decent performances, however, the team started falling behind and ended up disbanding.
Rasmus “ANGUISH” Filipsen and the other players went their separate methods on Nov. 18. But with the start of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit rapidly approaching, the group was one of numerous that got a welcome to Europe’s closed regional qualifiers.
That amazed a great deal of individuals thinking about both Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin and Andreas “Xibbe” Ragnemalm carried on to join the brand-new Chicken Fighters roster, which likewise got an invite. But MISERY, who’s now wearing his alternate ID of rASmus, is back together with Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard to attempt to make a run under a brand-new name.

German players Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau and Erik “tOfu” Engel, both of whom last played or are still taking on EURONICS Video gaming, will sign up with the pair on this “new” stack. Stormstormer is best understood for his time with the HAPPY GUYS team in 2018 where he played with Ilya “Illidan” Pivcaev and Troels “syndereN” Nielsen.
Georgiy “Gilgir” Svistunov is also playing with the team on loan while he’s on the non-active lineup for Khan. Former Mayhem Esports Club coach and manager Robson “TeaGuvnor” Merritt will act as the team’s coach.
The only previous 5men player who isn’t on a roster for the 2021 DPC yet is Johan “pieliedie” Åström.
