Mineski, Globe, and OPPO join forces to host a series of eSports competitions this year concentrating on Valorant and League of Legends (LOL) Wild Rift. Offered the constant development of eSports in the Philippines, the three companies are working carefully with Riot Games in making the competition series possible. Currently, Mineski holds the license to conduct main eSports tournaments for Valorant and LoL Wild Rift.

All official tournaments will be carried out under the Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL), where these competitions will certify the best teams to represent the nation in Southeast Asian tournaments and, hopefully, the world championship.

For the LoL Wild Rift competition, a point system will be carried out, where points will figure out a team’s opportunity beforehand to the playoffs. In addition, 1 point is comparable to one Peso, and a total reward swimming pool of Php 10 million is up for grabs.

The pre-season for the LoL Wild Rift competition will take place on March 20-21, where 8 expert teams-including World’s eSports group Liyab-will be battling in a series of matches. The competition will be divided into two splits-Summer Split from April to June and Fall Split from July to September-and each tournament will have a Php 5 million prize pool. For the Valorant competition, there will be three divides, with the first split occurring later in February
