And for Miami East, whose roster is an excellent mix of youth and experience– it was a good possibility to get gifted freshman Abigail Kadel, Lindi Snodgrass, Logan Phillips, Maryn Gross and Camryn Francis their very first taste of varsity action.
” We feel really excellent about our young gamers,” Vanover said. “We feel like they are really talented. Obviously, they haven’t seen anyone like Fort Loramie prior to. And that is what this video game did, got them some experience against that sort of skill. That is what they require.”
His veteran players were solid as well.

Hunley included another basket early in the third quarter and Francis followed by hitting three straight jumpers.
” I thought we saw a lot of advantages out there,” Vanover said. “I believed (Abigail) Kadel and (Lindi) Snodgrass both provided us some truly good minutes at the guard position. We had some girls that weren’t here tonight and other women stepped up.”
