Share All sharing choices for: Here’s Hoping 2021 Brings Health, Happiness & Wins to Mizzou Sports Teams

Due to the fact that I am constantly informed by Brave Leader Sam that I “do excessive” for the Hyperlinks, I might also go out on a high note in 2020 (considering that I’m composing this on NYE while seeing my Pels beat OKC) and maintain the tradition, eh? You have actually been warned …

S readers of our reasonable site, may 2021 bring you, to name a few things, health & health, vaccinations, joy (specifically if you’ve been dealing with mental health during the pandemic), task security (or a new task if you are looking or hate yours), close non-social distanced times out with family and friends, and well-deserved holidays. If I’m missing out on something, please do let me know, as these are absolutely things I want to have happen in the new year.

I ‘d like a shiny new task (not that box shop hasn’t been great to me when Mizzou laid me off– they have, and I LIKE the large majority of my colleagues), to keep growing my small company (link in case you care, lol), to continue to trust my abilities and my associates’ faith in me and write more besides Links posts for you people, to be able to see my parents (hi, Mom & Dad) and my bro & his gorgeous fam in Florida, to go to Mizzou sporting occasions and have it be CROWDED, to get to see my college friend/Rock M factor, Ryan Faller again, and so a lot more. A Lot MORE.

But this is a Mizzou sports website, so I’ll return to that. I want our groups (Mizzou and the others you may cheer for) to leave us feeling satisfied at the development they have actually made.

For Coach Pingeton’s squad, I want you health (no more Covid problems!) and connection so that everybody can truly see what your deep lineup can do as they play together more and more. I want you enhanced FT shooting, less fouls, and to pull some upsets in a REALLY strong SEC.

For Cuonzo’s team, I wish for you better shooting and control of the basketball. And might that occur earlier (like, today) rather than later. I long for Torrence to end up being a regular factor again, and for critics of this team and this staff to be silenced since there’s a lot awesomeness going on.

For Mizzou Gymnastics, I wish for you an unbelievable season where you build on last year’s success. Starting the season as preseason # 16 is incredible, so let’s see how high you can get (in the air on your regimens and in the rankings) as your season starts on January 8.

For Mizzou Football, I long for you an interesting quarterback competition in between Connor Bazelak, Brady Cook, and beginner Tyler Macon. I want for you continued quality by Rock M’s favorite gamer, The Thiccer, and big recruiting wins that lead to more Drink viral videos. I want a productive getting corps, mainly healthy position groups so we do not repeat the shorthanded-ness from this season, and NFL success/big paydays for the Larrys, Nick Bolton, and whomever else makes it on to the pros.

For Tiger Style, I want your continued conference supremacy, and that you begin your season on January 8 at Hearnes similar to it ended up last season (win over ranked team, wins in 8/10 of matches, etc). We will be seeing many Tigers perform well at the National Championships if their offseason bouts are early predictors of success.

For Beiser Ball, I long for ongoing quality in the house at Taylor Stadium, an NCAA local berth, All-American honors for Brandt Belk, and the other honors that will unquestionably come the Tigers’ way.

For Softball, I wish you to start the brand-new season much like you did in 2015, kicking some ass and taking names. With the vast bulk of your team returning and an excellent recruiting class, I want for national acknowledgment because you deserve it.

And for the other sports not listed, I will strive to learn more about you and write more about you, but understand I want you all success in the routine season and postseason.

Here’s to 2021 and hoping all our sports make us as delighted as Javon & JT were in this picture. (This is one my fave pictures of the year, thanks Mizzou Hoops IG).
