Manchester United has eyes on 20 year old Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. When former Reds Defender Wes Brown was asked by MUTV what the young winger could bring to Old Trafford, he replied: “Talent and excitement.”

“We need someone exactly like that at the club. We’ve had them over the years and I’m sure if we were to sign him he would bring that excitement back to the club. We’ve had players like that in the past, like with Cristiano Ronaldo. They’re the type of players who draw three or four defenders out and make the game a lot easier for the other players.”

In the 2019-2020 season, Sancho scored a total of 17 goals in 28 appearances, which explains why he’s so highly sought after.

The suggestion around United is that Sancho has been their No.1 target heading into this summer transfer window. The Reds seemed ready to sign Jadon Sancho in the window but news surfaced that Barcelona reportedly rejected a £90million bid.

However, Borussia Dortmund has made it clear that they’re not willing to budge from their
£100million valuation, which has led to United looking at potential alternatives, such as Kai Havertz.
