LG Electronics U.S.A. and esports organization Evil Geniuses (EG) revealed a collaboration Wednesday that will see the electronics maker sponsor a four-part web series called “Inside the Mind.” Sponsored by LG’s line of UltraGear Gaming Screens, the series will be launched weekly every Thursday from Sept. 10 – Oct. 1 on the Evil Geniuses YouTube channel.

The web series will highlight EG pro gamers including Tarik “Tarik” Celik (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive), Artour “Arteezy” Babaey (Dota 2), Ricki “HelloKittyRicki” Ortiz (numerous fighting games), and Justin “FearItself” Kats (Fortnite). In addition to highlighting how players prepare to play at the professional level, each episode will likewise highlight LG’s UltraGear line of IPS gaming monitors.

In combination with the weekly series, EG gamers will also take on against opponents in a two hour live-stream on Twitch each week. EG and LG will distribute screens, tailored jerseys, and Jerk subscriptions during the broadcast.

EG started its partnership with LG in May, naming the electronics business its main marketing partner. EG’s other partnerships signed this year include mobile phone maker Motorola and gaming chair maker Secretlab.

In August EG hired Chris DeAppolonio for the recently produced role of chief development officer, with aims to expand into other areas of video gaming and innovation.
