We consult with the CEO of Airship Distribute about their upcoming League of Legends RPG.

Enjoyable & Serious Online 2020 concluded a couple of days back, and as part of the event, we caught up with the CEO of Airship Syndicate Joe ‘Mad’ Madureira to talk about all things Darksiders and Messed up King: A League of Legends Story. Throughout the interview of which you can inspect out listed below, Madureira spoke about the studio’s current focus, and on what we can expect Ruined King to be when it launches in 2021.

” We are 100% focused on Ruined King right now, and you understand, making this the very best RPG we’re capable of as a studio” stated Madureira. “As you discussed, there’s a great deal of challenges to development of any kind, but we’re certainly making the best of it, and we have this game to complete. For us, that’s really where our focus is, on Destroyed King.”

Madureira further went on, talking about what Destroyed King is looking to be; “Ruined King is a single-player turn-based RPG and it takes location in present League of Legends lore. It was really crucial to connect into the existing life and occasions and timelines of the Champions, and factoring in everything Riot is doing and where it’s going. We’ve produced a story that sort of, furthers these Champions in their own specific stories, and still connects into the universe at big.

It’s been quite fun and challenging, you know we only have six Champions to pick from for this specific video game, just based upon scope. And similar to we did in Battlechasers, there were six playable heroes and you’re a combat celebration of three, and there’s a lot of fun synergy in between swapping out the Champions and experimenting with different abilities.”
