DeKay Mailbag Part 1: Karrigan’s Status, Flashpoint Group Circumstance, What’s Next for Kjaerbye
This is Part 1 of DeKay’s regular monthly mailbag series where he responds to questions regarding Counter-Strike: Global Offensive sent out in on Twitter.
I don’t have any details here outside of what we have actually all seen on the surface area. It’s extremely unfortunate and needs to have an impact on the other 4 men attempting to keep their spirits up. I hope he returns soon and does not have any further problems. Even if I understood something about his condition, I would not share because I like to keep individual concerns private no matter what.
I believe it’s pretty last for the time being, they still have a lots of work to do to all get on the same page. I would be surprised if any of their agreements are set to expire soon, that doesn’t look like something Cloud9 or HenryG would have done. I see ALEX AWPing out of necessity however likewise because he feels it’s the best setup for this team at the moment.
Last I was told, the majority of them were undoubtedly trying to find rosters but it doesn’t appear any of them are being aggressive. If they were, the similarity flusha, autimatic, and suNny would have been chosen up currently. FunPlus Phoenix finally has a group however that still leaves Gen.G, c0ntact, and Envy without one. I’ve heard of an organization or 2 thinking about Flashpoint just recently, so it’s all still a bit up in the air.
It’s sort of equivalent to me. Valve might have avoided most of the coaching bug abuse by repairing it when they were called in 2018. Nevertheless, more coaches might have said something privately and publicly rather of abusing it as they did. The blame is on both of them. It’s no surprise that Valve took this approach, offered how they have actually dealt with people who jeopardized competitive stability in the past.
All signs point to him joining once his contract is up with mousesports in March. There actually is no sense in paying for him when he is totally free so quickly. I haven’t heard his name connected to any other tasks nor have I heard any other possibilities for FaZe. I anticipate it to happen.
I do not anticipate a great deal from them. They have the ability to strike the leading 20 or leading 15 but that’s about it in my viewpoint. They have some great talent however at the end of the day, I do not think they have what it takes to become a top 10 group. However, possibly the organization doesn’t even anticipate that from them. All of it boils down to expectations.
Still a bit early on that front however provided that two years will have transpired without a single Significant by the time we get to October-November, I do not believe it will have a huge impact. The majority of the coaches aren’t training still anyway. You just have a couple of here and there that have other roles inside companies. More than likely, absolutely nothing truly changes unless they are required to do something.
Still prematurely to know here. He wasn’t even aware he would be changed when I originally was all set to publish the story about Twistzz. I’m going to presume that hasn’t agreed with him and I do not blame him for feeling that way. He will desire to prove he is a worthwhile asset someplace else as soon as possible. When or where that can take place boils down to his buyout and who may still have interest in him.
I haven’t heard one way or the other. Like I said in last month’s mailbag, it’s not looking good on that front for them keeping a team. If they wished to remain, it would make one of the most sense for them to keep autimatic and develop around him flusha and suNny. I find that insane offered how much they have actually invested to be a part of Flashpoint for them not to have actually pursued the options that are offered right now.
I do not think any gamer used as sparingly as him enjoys with that circumstance. I do not see him staying with Astralis much longer unless one of the core gamers decides they want to take a break again. It just does not make much sense.
