One of the largest college esports organizers out there, Collegiate StarLeague, announced its Grand Finals weekend returns this month. Like lots of other esports occasions, CSL needed to rethink its events structure in the wake of COVID-19. However the celebration is back on beginning May 30th with over $215,000 in scholarships and prizes on the line.

In line with previous CSL finals, this year’s event will have competitors in League of Legends, DOTA 2, CS: GO, Rocket League, and Magic: The Event Arena. The CEO of Collegiate StarLeague and World Video Gaming Network, Wim Stocks, states the organization is overjoyed.

” Our collegiate season culmination is the ideal medium for CSL college players and groups to showcase their skills on a grand scale while representing their schools, even as everyone continues to safely shelter in location. There is absolutely nothing like the rivalry of school vs school competitions, even more increased offered the 2019-2020 Grand Finals and Champion titles and scholarships are at stake.”

CSL has a number of sponsors for the occasion including Hyper X, Game Stop, and Efuse. No details on which schools are taking part was launched. But CSL states more information is coming through their site and social channels. Likewise, with several college brackets covering up in the next couple of weeks it’s fantastic to see these grand finals back on. The entire event goes reside on CSL’s Twitch Channel on May 30 and ends May 31st.
