Cavalry confirms captain Ledgerwood’s return with one-year extension
That’s since the club re-signed, sealed and provided Nik Ledgerwood under the tree for the 2021 Canadian Premier League season.
The team confirmed the captain’s return Thursday, in the nick of time for the holidays.
” Nik is an integral part of our football club as beyond being an excellent gamer, he has a lot of intangible qualities that set an excellent example for the more youthful gamers in our team,” stated Cavalry GM/head coach Tommy Wheeldon Jr. “His experience is important to the team as he brings excellent professionalism, a high level of complete in training and video game days and eventually sets the standard of what it implies to play for our crest. These are important possessions to have in the role of a captain, and we are pleased to keep this story going with Nik continuing to lead our side on and off the pitch.”
The 2021 project will be Ledgerwood’s 3rd season as captain of Cavalry.
