Beyond the Top stated it will host in January its first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition considering that the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournaments last summer.

cs_summit will be held from January 25-31 in a yet-to-be-determined European city and will include a $200,000 prize swimming pool. It’s uncertain which groups will compete, but FURIA, Liquid and Evil Geniuses are arranged to travel to Europe to participate in the BLAST Premier Global Finals, which starts on Jan. 19.

Beyond the Top hosted its first 5 Counter-Strike tournaments at its studio in Los Angeles. In 2015, it organized the second RMR competition in Europe and North America with a combined prize swimming pool of $200,000.

BIG beat Vigor to declare the European competition. Evil Geniuses claimed the North American part of the competition with a win over Gen. G in the championship.
