Alabama basketball’s Herbert Jones leaves with injury vs. Kentucky basketball
Alabama males’s basketball player Herbert Jones left with an injury during the very first half versus the Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
Jones got at his left hand as he came out of the video game with 10:57 left in the first half.
He collided with Kentucky forward Jacob Toppin choosing a shot, and Jones crumpled in the lane.
Jones had eight points, 2 helps and one rebound in 8 minutes before leaving the game.
Alabama, ranked No. 24 in the Ferris Mowers males’s basketball coaches survey, came into the game 9-3 total and 4-0 in the SEC. Most recently, Alabama beat Auburn 94-90 on Saturday.
The UK Wildcats entered the match 4-6 general and 3-0 in the SEC. On Saturday, Kentucky beat Florida 76-58.
Going Into Tuesday, Kentucky leads the all-time series 114-38 against Alabama.
